Protocols & Equipment
How often should I come in?
It really depends on your training load, the more you train, the more you should be recovering!
If you are unsure, please contact us to book a free consultation with one of our staff members to determine which protocols may suit you best and how frequently you should undertake them to get the best results.
Our consultants will be able to provide you with a recovery and wellness plan that will optimise your training program and sporting schedule. They will also be able to provide a wellness plan for those that just want to feel better and live longer!
Is there a minimum age requirement?
People aged 16 years and over are allowed to use the facility. 16-18 year olds will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian or have written approval and consent prior to the session.
It’s my first time at TH7, where should I start?
We have specifically designed a protocol for anyone that is new to contrast therapy. Our Nordic Cycle combines traditional sauna, ice bath and steam room. You can read more about Nordic Cycle here or you can book the Nordic Cycle protocol here.
One of our staff members will guide you through the protocol and make sure you are comfortable with all of the equipment involved.
What are the protocols, and how do they work?
Our philosophy at TH7 BodyLabs is to provide you with the latest technology coupled with evidence-based research, to provide a service that accelerates recovery, improves performance and sleep, increases mental clarity, and improves the overall quality of life.
You can come in and just do a single ice bath or sauna. But through the research we have discovered that if you combine different equipment, as seen in our protocols, you will get the best results. You can find the protocol that is right for you here.
What facilities can I use if I am pregnant?
The following equipment is suitable for use during pregnancy:
The Float Tank is a great way to escape the added weight of pregnancy, especially for your feet and spine. And the Normatec compression boots are popular with pregnant women as a way to relieve swelling and soreness.
However, we strongly recommend that you consult with your doctor for advice as to whether these services are appropriate for you to use.
Are the facilities communal?
Part of the TH7 experience is meeting like-minded people like yourself in our communal areas. This makes it a fun and relaxing vibe, and it's always easier to battle an ice bath with someone else.
We expect that all customers will be respectful of others in the shared environment, and any inappropriate, aggressive, discriminatory or sexual behaviour will not be tolerated.
