By using the contrast therapy techniques of combining traditional sauna and steam room sessions with intermittent ice bath plunge, the 60 minute Nordic Cycle benefits include improved strength, endurance and resilience.

Traditional Sauna

Heat therapy releases endorphins that help with pain relief and muscle soreness, and encourage relaxation and improve sleep quality. Sauna has also been shown to aid athletic recovery and provide pain relief and improve mobility.

Pro-tip: Novices may want to work their way up to using our low temperature Ice baths (6-8 degrees), if that’s the case, you can swap the Ice bath sessions in the Nordic Cycle protocol for our cold pool (10-12 degrees). If in doubt, check in with one of our friendly staff members.
